Recipe for Rachel’s Jagermeister Pound Cake:
CAKE3 cups sugar3 cups flour (i used cake flour, but recipe calls for all purpose)5 eggs room temp1 1/2 cup butter softened1 1/2 tsp baking powder1 tsp anise1 tsp all spice1/2 tsp salt1/2 cup Jager1 1/2 cup whole milkGLAZE1 1/2 cup powdered sugar4-5 tbsp Jager1 tsp waterIn bowl beat butter for two minutes. Slowly add sugar and beat till fluffy, about 3 more minutes. In separate bowl sift flour, salt, baking powder, anise, and all spice. Add Jager to milk and mix. Add eggs to butter and sugar one at a time. Slowly add flour mix and milk mix to batter small amounts at a time and mix on med/low. Once fully mixed, pour into bundt pan that has been coated in pam nonstick spray or butter and dusted with flour. Cook at 350 degrees for 40-55 minutes till toothpick comes out clean. Cool pan on rack for 15-20 minutes before inverting on cake plate.Glaze: Sift powered sugar in to bowl, slowly add tbsp of Jager and whisk to right consistency. I added 1 tsp water because the Jager was not thinning the sugar after 5 tbsp. Drizzle over cake.
